Hunter Kingland // Instructor
Hunter was a three sport athlete at Lake Mills High School where he played football, basketball and golf and received first team recognition in each. Hunter was a three year starter for Lake Mills High School Basketball Team. He led the conference his sophomore season in 3 pointers made. He received all-conference honors his sophomore, junior and senior season and Albert Lea Tribune Newspaper all area team all three years. Hunter led the Lake Mills basketball team offensively each of the three years and his senior year was team leader in points, rebounds and assists.
Hunter was recruited to play quarterback at Bethel University but decided after one season to make the switch back to basketball. Hunter just completed his first year on the Bethel Men’s Basketball team where he tied a school record going 8 for 8 on three pointers in one game and scored 30 points. Hunter is majoring in Business Marketing with a minor in political science. Hunter would eventually like to come back and work with the family farming operation and coach basketball.
Hunter participated in B.E.S.T. camps for five years while a student at Lake Mills. Hunter assisted BJ Mulder with the camp last summer that was held in Lake Mills.
